How To Clean Knit Hats

How to clean knit hats. Wash with like colors a full load works best and allow the load to soak in cold water with mild detergent for at least an hour. If there are areas that are especially problematic spot clean them with a dab of cleaning product right on the hat. Take the hat to the faucet and turn on the cold water. Swish the hat around do not wring and then rinse well until no suds are seen. Run the washing machine on the spin only cycle and then remove the knit hat.
Let it soak for about 5 minutes. Spot clean the hat first as needed. Rinse the hat with cold water. Submerge the cap and allow to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Let the water run over the entire surface of the hat both inside and outside to rinse all of the detergent and dirty water off of the hat.
