How To Use Mod Podge Spray

Allow that coat to dry for 20 minutes or so before applying another even layer of mod podge in up and down strokes.

To prevent an excess application and or drips it is best to apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat. Rub the paper with your fingers until it comes off the transfer surface. If you want to mod podge a round item like a can measure the height of the item and cut the paper fabric according to that height. Immediately place all design elements onto the wet surface. You can do this with a wide paintbrush or a foam brush.

Spray the back of the paper with water once the mod podge dries. I apply mod podge to the surface as well as to the back of the paper or fabric. Keep smoothing until all of the bubbles are removed. Cut off the excess paper fabric. The ink from your image should remain on the canvas.
